The film that has set everyone talking, Amala Paul's Aadai had received an ‘A’ certificate by the Censor Board not long back. Directed by Meyaadha Maan fame Rathna Kumar, the upcoming film is a radical shift for the filmmaker from his previous romantic comedy, which went on to become a success in 2017. With the film’s intense teaser not shedding much details about the plot apart from actress Amala Paul in a bold and striking pose, the Aadai trailer has now been released by acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap.
Announced to hit screens on July 19, Aadai has been carrying massive expectations ever since the film’s first look poster was released last year and went on to receive a thunderous response as was seen with the teaser released a few days back. Amala Paul plays a character named Kamini with director Rathna Kumar time and again stating the role is tailor-made for the popular actress while also labelling the film to be "arrogant, audacious and artistic".
Produced by Viji Subramaniam under the V Studios banner with music by Pradeep Kumar, Aadai also includes Vivek Prasanna and popular VJ Ramya Subramanian in supporting roles.
