After the success of Runway 34 which was released earlier this year, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is back in the director's chair yet again. This time, he will be helming Bholaa, the official Hindi remake of 2019's action thriller Tamil blockbuster Kaithi. The film was earlier supposed to be directed by Dharmendra Sharma who served as an editor in Ajay's earlier films like Son of Sardaar, Shivaay, and Bhuj: The Pride of India.

The actor took to his official Twitter handle to share this new exciting news with the public. He shared an image of himself on the director's chair handling a camera and captioned it saying, "It's time to say ACTION again! Bholaa releasing on March 30th, 2023.". Check it out:

Ajay, who is also starring in Bholaa alongside frequent collaborator Tabu, said he is excited to return to the director's chair after Runway 34. Bholaa is produced by Ajay Devgn Films, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment, and Dream Warrior Pictures.

This is not the first directorial stint for the actor and will be his fourth venture instead after having made U, Me Aur Hum (2008), Shivaay (2016), and Runway 34 as mentioned above. After the release of Runway 34, he was asked how he managed to shoot the film so quickly, to which he says, "Well the preparation was done earlier on. It was just a question of getting behind the camera again and saying the three magic words-Lights, camera, action!’’.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn will be next starring in Indra Kumar's Thank God with Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh. He will also enact a variety of roles in Maidaan, Cirkus, Drishyam 2, Raid 2, Singham 3, Golmaal 5, Chanakya, Chanakya 2, and a yet-to-be-titled superhero film made under the production of Yash Raj Films.
