Director Cheran has become a busy actor in the past few years and we have seen him as an actor in several popular films. Up next, he will be seen playing an important role in Gautham Karthik's upcoming family drama, Anandham Vilayadum Veedu, directed by Nandha Periyasamy of Oru Kalluriyin Kathai and Vanna Jigina fame. As the title suggests, Anandham Vilayadum Veedu will be a family drama set in a village and it is going to be interesting to see Gautham Karthik in a family drama. It is said that the combination scenes of Gautham Karthik and Cheran would be a major highlight of the film and the fans are looking forward to seeing it.

The shooting of the film is currently happening at a rapid pace in Dindigul and quite a few important sequences are being shot in this schedule. Meanwhile, director Cheran has shared new pictures from the shooting spot of Anandham Vilayadum Veedu and the pictures have gone viral on social media. Through this picture, we also get to see Cheran's look in the film and he will be seen in a clean-shaven look. Cheran shared pictures that he had taken with other actors who were a part of the shoot and mentioned that he is spending good time with them.

Sharing the pictures, he tweeted, “தம்பிகளாக செளந்தர்ராஜா, செல்லா, முனீஸ்ராஜ்.. என் மனைவியாக சூசன் மற்றும் தம்பி மனைவிகளாக ஜானகி, சிந்து, சுபா, அம்மாவாக தனம் அம்மாள் மற்றும் கெளரவ தோற்றத்தில் மொட்டைராஜேந்திரன், மதுமிதா இவர்களோடு ஒரு குடும்பமாக நடிப்பதில் பெருமை கொள்கிறேன். அனைவரும் பழகுவதற்கு இனிமையானவர்கள்.”. The film will feature actor Rajasekhar's daughter, Shivathmika Rajasekhar as the female lead and this is her debut in Tamil cinema.

Produced by P Ranganathan under the banner of Sri Vaari Films, the film has music scored by Siddhu Kumar of Sivappu Manjal Pachai fame and has cinematography by Borra Balabharani. Apart from Gautham Karthik, Shivathmika, and director Cheran, the film also features Joe Malloori, Singam Puli, Saravanan, Snehan, Monika, Jaangri Madhumitha, Soundara Raja, and others in supporting roles.
