It is undeniable that Thala Ajith is a demi-god for his fans and they celebrate him as one of their own family members. He has die-hard fans across different walks of life and is one of the most celebrated gentlemen in Tamil cinema. In this age of social media dominance, fans of stars flood different platforms with posts about their favourite stars' upcoming movies and when any of these movies release, the fans of the heroes ensure that the movie's title trends on social media. They also carry a sense of pride when their favourite star’s film gets remade in other languages as well. Now it is rumoured that Thala Ajith’s blockbuster entertainers Varalaru and Vaali would be remade in Hindi by one of Boney Kapoor’s associates Rahul. When we got in touch with our sources close to Ajith Kumar and the production team, they denied the news as false. Neither Boney Kapoor nor his associate has acquired the rights of Vaali or Varalaru. In fact, Vaali has already been remade in Hindi long back as Sheesha.

Varalaru which was directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by SS Chakravarthy under their production house NIC Arts had Ajith Kumar in a triple role as a father and his two sons, alongside Asin and Kanika as the female leads. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by AR Rahman. Varalaru has already been remade in Kannada under the title Godfather while Ravi Teja announced he was going to remake the film in Telugu in 2007, but eventually did not do so. Further discussions by Pawan Kalyan to do the role in Telugu with Ravikumar as director also failed to materialise. Varalaru might be remade in Hindi sooner or later but Boney Kapoor or Rahul have no intention to remake the film at the moment adds our source. Producer Boney Kapoor is currently producing three biggies in three languages - Valimai with Thala Ajith in Tamil, Maidaan with Ajay Devgn in Hindi, and Vakeel Saab with Pawan Kalyan in Telugu. Maidaan is the biopic of Syed Abdul Rahim, who is considered as the architect of modern Indian Football and Vakeel Saab is the official Telugu remake of Pink. Valimai, it is an action cop drama that is directed by H Vinoth. The film features Huma Qureshi as the female lead and has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
