Ajith Kumar's Valimai is almost complete and the makers are left with just one more foreign schedule to be completed. The fans and film buffs have pinned high hopes on Valimai and considering the hype surrounding the film, we can be sure that Valimai will have a mega grand opening at the box office. Talking about the film's release, producer Boney Kapoor shared a super exciting update, last night (March 29). The Tamil Nadu theatrical distribution rights of Valimai have been acquired by Raahul of Romeo Pictures and Anbuchezhian's Gopuram Cinemas. Boney Kapoor's official tweet read, "We at Bayview Projects & Zee Studios are happy to announce that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of our film #Valimai have been entrusted with Raahul of Romeo pictures @mynameisraahul and @Gopuram_Cinemas".

Anbuchezhian's Gopuram Cinemas is one of the leading financial, production, and distribution companies in Tamil Nadu and it is good that Valimai has been signed by them. It is said that Gopuram Cinemas and Romeo Pictures have bought Valimai's rights for a record price and we will know more details about it soon. Even before the completion of the film's shooting, the theatrical rights of Valimai have been sold out and it indeed shows the buzz the film has in the trade circle.

The first look poster of Valimai is scheduled to be released on May 1 on account of Ajith's 50th birthday and the fans are eagerly waiting for the D-Day. The first look poster will give us a glimpse of Ajith's character and makeover in the film and it will surely create some noise on social media. Valimai is directed by H Vinoth and has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film features Kaala fame Huma Qureshi as the female lead and young Telugu actor, Kartikeya as the key antagonist. Yogi Babu is also a part of the film's star cast. Valimai is said to be a stylish action entertainer that will have a good mix of family emotions, as well.

Ajith will be seen as a police officer in this film that has been shot by cinematographer Nirav Shah. Ajith is said to have performed all the risky stunt sequences and bike chase sequences all by himself and it is going to be exciting to see those high octane moments on the big screen.
