After having a highly successful run in theatres in the first two weeks, Thalapathy Vijay's Master will now be releasing on Amazon Prime Video platform on January 29. We are just two days away from witnessing the film legally through a streaming platform and the news has created a massive buzz on social media. Of course, there has been a mixed reaction to this among the fans since the movie is performing really well at the box office. However, this decision has been made for the overseas audience who are yet to witness the film. Theatres have not yet reopened in several countries across the world and this move has been made to facilitate them.

The announcement regarding the OTT release was made, earlier this morning (January 27) and everyone is eagerly looking forward to its release. Amazon Prime has now released a new trailer of the film and the video has already gone viral among the fans. However, as a disclaimer, we suggest you not to go through the trailer, if you are yet to see the film. The newly released trailer carries several spoilers and if you want the suspense to be maintained, you can better skip the trailer and watch the movie directly on January 29. The trailer also has visuals of Vijay uttering cuss words in anger. Notably, in the theatrical version, the audio was muted.

Since OTT does not need any censor, it looks like the makers of Master are releasing the uncut and uncensored version of the film. If reports are to be believed, the OTT version of Master will have a runtime of around 3 hours and 10 minutes, unlike the theatrical version which was 2 hours and 58 minutes. Looking at the uncensored version of the trailer, the fans are super excited and eager to know if the full film will also be an uncensored one. In that case, it is going to be quite interesting. After creating several records in the theatrical business, Master is now all set for creating new records in the digital space and we are sure that it is going to be one of the most-watched films in the world. Notably, this early digital release will also help the audience in Tamil Nadu who were scared to go to the theatres amidst the pandemic. Despite the OTT release, Master will continue to run in the theatres as well.
