Soon after Samantha posted the picture, the actress was flooded with comments, including an unusual proposal from a Telugu fan, who told her to divorce her husband Naga Chaitanya and instead marry him. However, rather than getting angry, the Mersal actress gave a funny response to the fan saying his request is a difficult one, while telling him to ask her husband Naga Chaitanya. On the professional front, Samantha surprised fans a few days back when she revealed herself to be the substitute host on Bigg Boss Telugu season 4, stepping in for veteran superstar and her father-in-law Akkineni Nagarjuna. Apart from her ongoing temporary stint on Bigg Boss Telugu 4, Samantha is currently attached to the highly-exciting Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal under Vignesh Shivn's direction. The upcoming romantic comedy Tamil film being produced by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio in association with Vignesh Shivn's Rowdy Pictures also includes 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles, with music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander. Apart from Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, she is also set to join hands with Maya and Game Over director Ashwin Saravanan for a film, which is speculated to be yet another thriller. Likewise, Samantha, who was last seen in the 96 Telugu remake Jaanu earlier this year, will be making her debut on the digital space as well in the Manoj Bajpayee-Priyamani Hindi action thriller web series The Family Man's second season.
