Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide came a big shock to the whole film fraternity and even more shocking things came to light following various theories about the actor's death. Sushant's case has been handed over to the CBI by the Supreme Court court after it upheld the validity of an FIR filed by the Bihar police in response to a complaint filed by Rajput’s father, KK Singh.

And now as yet another twist, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has reportedly recovered some WhatsApp chats from Rhea Chakraborty’s mobile phone which reveal that the actress might have been involved in drug dealings. ED has shared Rhea’s WhatsApp messages with the CBI team and the Narcotics Control Bureau. The Narcotics Control Bureau has registered an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and others after reports emerged that drugs were supplied to her and the late actor. The case was registered under sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, which makes possessing, selling of drugs a crime. The other people named in the FIR are, Rhea’s brother Showik, her talent manager Jaya Saha, Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Shruti Modi and Gaurav Arya.

Rakesh Asthana, the NCB director, confirmed that an FIR was filed and said, “We received a letter from the ED on Tuesday evening stating that during their probe into financial aspects they found that drugs were supplied to Rhea and Sushant. An NCB team will now conduct an inquiry and people involved will be questioned.”

On the other side, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer has said she has never consumed drugs in her life. Responding to allegations that the 28-year-old was in touch with drug dealers, her lawyer said, "Rhea Chakraborty has never consumed drugs in her lifetime ever. She's ready for a blood test at any time."
