Legendary music director Ilaiyaraaja and reputed Tamil film studio Prasad Studios were involved in a conflict, which recently came to an end after the Madras High Court’s intervention. Ilayaraja had opened a new recording studio of his own at T. Nagar in Chennai sometime back, with the celebrated music director kicking off the proceedings by beginning the composition works for National Award-winning director Vetri Maaran's next film, which incidentally marks comedian Soori's debut as a hero, with 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi cast in a pivotal role. In that light, Ilayaraja had a big guest of honor on Tuesday as 'Superstar' Rajinikanth had paid a visit to the new recording studio to witness the composer at work for his new film.

Rajinikanth met Ilayaraja at his home on Monday morning and the two held discussions for sometime together. Upon coming to know that Ilayaraja had built a new studio, the iconic superstar joined the composer and headed to check out the music facility. Upon entering the new studio, Rajini had confided in Ilayaraja that he felt like he had entered a temple. In that light, Rajinikanth visited Ilaiyaraaja's new recording studio once again today and had also invited all the music artists for a composition session. This latest public appearance of Rajinikanth has left his fans mighty happy considering he had been avoiding coming outside of late.

On the film front, the shooting for Rajinikanth's next biggie, Annaatthe, had been brought to a halt in December last year after four crew members tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Touted to be a rural action family entertainer, Annaatthe being directed by Viswasam fame Siva under the prestigious Sun Pictures banner and featuring music by D. Imman is a multi-starrer that includes names like Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Vela Ramamoorthy, Sathish, Soori, among others and has been announced to be a grand Diwali release in November this year.
