Actor Madhavan will be making his debut as a director with the upcoming film, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, and the film is based on the life story of Nambi Narayanan, former Scientist and Aerospace Engineer of the ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation). Nambi Narayanan was accused of espionage and several false accusations and charges were made against him. Rocketry will dwelve deep into those incidents and tell us the reality. Produced by Madhavan's Tricolour Films in association with Varghese Moolan Pictures, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has music scored by Sam CS of Vikram Vedha and Kaithi fame.

The highly anticipated trailer of the film was officially released this evening (April 1) and it has opened to a very good response from the fans and film buffs. The trailer gives us an idea of how the film is going to be and it looks highly promising. Madhavan seems to have put a lot of effort in to the making of Rocketry and the ambitious work is definitely seen. Madhavan, who also plays the lead role, as Nambi Narayanan is highly impressive and his makeover is astonishing. It is so different (in a good way) to see him in an older character and from what we see in the trailer, it looks like Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is going to be an important movie in his filmography.

The trailer opens with Suriya and it comes as a pleasant surprise. Suriya plays an interesting cameo in the Tamil version and his fans are delighted with the trailer. We also get to see a glimpse of other actors including Simran (who plays Nambi Narayanan's wife), Ravi Raghavendra, Mohan Raman, Ron Donachie, Misha Ghoshal, and others. The trailer takes us through a roller coaster ride and it surely packs a punch. The trailer has a good mix of all the emotions and it prepares us for an exciting ride. The film has cinematography by Sirsha Ray and editing by Bijith Bala.

Through this trailer, the makers have announced that the film will hit the screens in the summer of this year. The film will be released in Tamil, Hindi, and English. For now, check out the highly impressive trailer of Madhavan's debut directorial venture, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect here:
