A fan of Kannada superstar Yash and leader of the State Opposition, Siddaramaiah, Ramakrishna died by suicide recently. He was 25. Ramakrishna was found hanging at his house in Kodidoddi village in the Mandya district, with police officials coming across a suicide note handwritten in Kannada after which a case was registered. Investigations are currently underway, with Ramakrishna in his suicide note stating that he felt his life to be a huge failure. In his final wish, he expressed both KGF star Yash and Siddaramaiah to attend his funeral. 

Taking to his Twitter page, Yash mourned the demise of Ramakrishna and tweeted, "Fans' love is our life. Our pride. But can we be proud of Mandya Ramakrishna's love? This shouldn't be an example of fans' love. Hope he rests in peace. Om Shanti." Siddaramaiah too in a series of tweets said that suicide should not be an option at any point of time. The Karnataka Congress party leader visited Ramakrishna's village and paid his last respects in person. Ramakrishna's suicide note further stated that he could not be a good son to his mother and a good sibling to his elder brother. His suicide note reportedly stated, "Therefore, there is nothing left to achieve in my life and I am ending my life. This is my last wish." Siddaramaiah, who paid his final respects, said, "I don't think I have ever met him. But it is very saddening to meet your fan under such circumstances. None should end life at such a young age."

The news of Ramakrishna's death has come as a big shock to many across the country, with fans taking to social media to pay their tributes and condolences.
