It is well known that one of Dhanush's most most anticipated movies is Asuran, with director Vettrimaaran. This movie, an adaptation of the bestselling novel Vekkai by writer Poomani, will see Dhanush playing dual roles. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations, this movie is all set to hit the screens on October 4th. Asuran has been generating a lot of buzz right from the time it was announced and now that the promotional activities have started, the excitement is peaking. Early today, GV Prakash had posted a tweet and this has only served to amp-up the expectation levels!
GV Prakash's tweet states that the teaser of Asuran would be released very soon. He also mentioned that the official announcement would happen in the next couple of days. Asuran will mark ace Mollywood actress Manju Warrier's debut in Tamil cinema. Director Balaji Sakthivel is also making his acting debut with Asuran, where he will be seen as the antagonist - a Police officer. The cast of this movie, also includes Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Pasupathy, Subramania Siva, Ammu Abhirami, Ken Karunas, Aadukalam Naren and a lot of other actors. Velraj is cranking the camera while Ramar R is taking care of the editing.
