For the first time in her career, Amy plays her age in Dhanush's Thanga Magan. In the film, she will be seen as a bubbly, outgoing teenage girl in this family entertainer. "I play Hema D’Souza, a bubbly, an outgoing teenage girl in love with Dhanush in the film. The entire journey was a roller-coaster ride," the actress was quoted saying. 

Directed by Velraj, is touted to be a family drama revolving around the father-son relationship. Veteran director K.S. Ravikumar will play Dhanush's father and Radhikaa will appear as his mother. Samantha and Amy Jackson are the leading ladies. Produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films, the film is ready to hit the screens on December 18.
