Actor - Comedian Vivekh passed away during the early hours of Saturday, April 17 and his death has come as a big shocker for the entire film fraternity and the Tamil audience. Vivekh is someone who earned a huge fan base through his organic comedies. He chose to create awareness among the audience through his comedies and the majority of his works had a social connect to them. For the good man he was, Vivekh will always be remembered by the Tamil people. Vivekh died due to a cardiac arrest that attacked him on April 16 morning. He was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai for treatment.

After failing to respond to the medical treatment, Vivekh was declared dead by the doctors on April 17 at 4.35 AM. Currently, his mortal remains is kept at his residence in Virugambakkam for the public and film personalities to pay their final respects. The cremation is expected to take place this evening. The ace actor, who is known to be quite active on social media, posted his last tweet on April 15, just a day before his heart attack, at 2.25 PM.

In his last tweet, he thanked Dr J Radhakrishnan, Tamil Nadu Health Secretary, and the Doctors of Omandurar Hospital, Chennai for making him feel convenient and comfortable during the Covid vaccination. Vivekh's last tweet read, "அரசு சுகாதாரத்துறை செயலர் @RAKRI1 ஓமந்தூரார் மருத்துவமனை டீன் மரு. ஜெயந்தி , மருத்துவர்கள் @AnandNodal @dromramesh ஆகியோருக்கு என் நன்றி.". Vivekh had taken the Covid 19 vaccine at Omandurar Hospital on April 15. Following his cardiac arrest, the doctors made a clarification stating that there is no connection between the Covid 19 vaccine and his heart attack and asked the people not to spread false rumours.

Vivekh's death is definitely one of the darkest incidents in Tamil cinema and it is going to take a few more days for the fans to come to terms with the reality.
