Leading Tamil actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan penned a heartfelt romantic statement to his wife Aarthi on their 13th wedding anniversary on Saturday, August 27. Sharing a photo of themselves taken recently, the Maaveeran wrote in the caption on Instagram about his beloved wife, "My tears of joy ♥️♥️ Happy Anniversary to us 🤗🤗" (sic), with wishes pouring in from personalities in the Tamil film fraternity and fans. Sivakarthikeyan can be seen in the picture wearing a beanie cap to not reveal his look for his upcoming film, the tentatively titled SK 21, while hugging Aarthi as the couple are all smiles when they take the selfie.

Sivakarthikeyan and Aarthi tied the knot on August 27, 2010, and have been blessed with two children - daughter Aaradhana, born on October 22, 2013, and son Gugan Doss, born on July 12, 2021. The actor has often posted pictures with his family and this latest photo is once again a testimony to how much they are adored and celebrated. Fans will know that Sivakarthikeyan, his wife Aarthi, and their daughter Aaradhana have made several appearances on the public stage over the years on a number of occasions. It is to be noted that SK's nine-year-old daughter Aaradhana garnered a fan following of her own across Tamil Nadu after her rendition of the song 'Vaayadi Petha Pulla' in Kanaa (2018), went on to become a chart-topping hit.
On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan is fresh off the success of his Maaveeran, which was announced to have collected 89 crore in gross during its theatrical run. The actor will next be seen in the highly-anticipated big-budget science-fiction film, Ayalaan, scheduled to open in theatres worldwide as a grand Diwali treat this November. Sivakarthikeyan is currently filming SK 21 being produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) banner along with Sony Pictures International Productions and R. Mahendran under Rangoon fame Rajkumar Periyasamy's direction and will feature Sai Pallavi as the female lead, with music being composed by National Award winner G. V. Prakash Kumar.
