The 11th edition of the Chennai International Film Festival is all set to happen from the 12th to 19th of this month. The 100 years of Indian Cinema would be the headliner at this festival which will be inaugurated by the TN Government's Minister for Information and Broadcasting. The celebrities gracing the event would be Kamal Haasan and Aamir Khan apart from many others. The buzz is that veteran dancer Shobana and Swarnamalya would be performing at the inauguration which will also have a performance by singer Karthik. The final day function, to be held at the Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Hall. is to be graced by Mohanlal. Movies for the festival are to be screened at 5 venues including 2 screens at Inox, Woodlands and Abirami Mega Mall, and 1 each at Casino Theatre and Rani Seethai Hall. Over 160 movies from across 50+ countries are to be screened this year, through the 8 days of the festival. Get set to bask in cinema at the Chennai International Film Festival!
