Currency on April 14
Young hero Jayasuriya's Currency, directed by debutante Swathi Bhaskar and produced under the banner of Indo-star Movie Magic, has been scheduled to grace theatres on April 14 for Vishu. The movie, which was in making for quite some time, features Jayasuriya as a tailor named Keshava Menon alias Keshu. Meera Nandan is the heroine.
Actor Mukesh plays a significant role as Danny D'Souza, an Anglo-Indian who collects antiques. Kalabhavan Mani, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu, Siddique, Mamookoya and others are in the cast.
Scripted by the director himself, Currency has songs penned by Vayalar Sharath Chandra Varma, Jofi Tharakan and Santhosh Varma set to tune by Siddharth Bipin. Viswamangal Kitsu handles the cinematography, while Gireesh Menon does the art direction and Manoj the editing.
