Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya audio released

The audio launch of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya took place in a star-stunned function on Tuesday evening at Satyam Cinemas, Chennai. Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya gives a sensational and promising sign that Kollywood’s ‘naughty boy’ Silambarasan is likely to make a never-seen-before leap in his career with master filmmaker Gautham Menon’s realistic love story.

Two Indian lagends Padma Shri Kamal Haasan and Academic award winning music maestro A.R. Rahman released the audio CD of the film in the presence of director Gautham Menon, hero Simbu, Telugu actor Naga Chaithanya,├п┬┐┬╜ producers Madhan, Ganesh, Kumar and Jayaram, the audio distributors Sony officials and lyricist Thamarai.

Director Gautham Menon’s son Arya and the crew members, including cinematographer Manoj├п┬┐┬╜ Paramahamsa, editor Antony and art director Rajeevan also received the first copies of the audio CD from Kamal Haasan.

The whole event started with Gautham Menon, who├п┬┐┬╜intially seemed├п┬┐┬╜a bit nervous, introducing the major players in the music department, including singers Chinmayi, Beni Deyal, Naresh Iyer, Karthik, Blassy and Alphonse. Under the orchestration of Stephan (Piano), Alap (Base Guitar), Devan and Vijay Prasad, they sang seven songs in the film. Later, the makers screened three official Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya trailers followed by songs and a video presentation of the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya music show held two weeks ago in London.

Seeming highly impressed by the music and trailers, Kamal Haasan briefly said that he really wanted to watch Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. He appreciated actor Simbu for his impressive performance in the scenes├п┬┐┬╜screened. The ever charming A.R. Rahman said├п┬┐┬╜he enjoyed working with Gautham Menon and hoped the music would become a hit. Actor Simbu thanked A.R. Rahman for his wonderful music.
