Dhanush has done a lot of commercial films and his upcoming movie VIP 2 is on the same lines featuring Kajol and Amala Paul in the lead. Films like Kadhal Kondaen, Maryan and Pudupettai had brought out the real actor to limelight.

With his experience acting in a film like Shamitabh, Dhanush is now very interested in remaking an award winning film from Bollywood. Titled Barfi, Ranbir Kapoor is a deaf and dumb in the original which should give Dhanush ample scope to play the character. It had two heroines in Hindi and plans are on to hire two of the best for the Kollywood remake.
