It is said that the incident occurred when an iron rod of the Flexi banner came into contact with an overhead electric wire, and both the boys on spot. The police officials have filed a complaint and have begun investigations

A video of the actor speaking to the family expressing his condolences has become viral on social media. It shows the Kanguva actor saying, "I am still in big shock," and offering his consolation and support on the major loss in the family. Though the audio is not clear in the shared video, it shows the families are shaken by the demise of the youngsters and actor Suriya is condoling them by saying he will be like a brother to the family.
