The shooting of the Hindi film, Atrangi Re, has been wrapped up and actor Akshay Kumar took to his official Twitter page to share the news with his followers and fans. Sharing a picture of his look from the film, Akshay Kumar wrote, "It’s the last day of #AtrangiRe and I can’t wait for you’ll to experience the magic created by @aanandlrai. Also a big thank you to my co-stars #SaraAliKhan and @dhanushkraja for letting me be a part of this beautiful film. An @arrahman musical. Written by: #HimanshuSharma". The tweet has gone viral among the fans and it is good to know that the film's shoot has been wrapped up.

Atrangi Re features Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles and is directed by ace filmmaker Aanand L Rai. The film marks the return of Dhanush to Hindi cinema after Shamitabh and interestingly, it also marks his reunion with director Aanand L Rai after Raanjhanaa. It was Aanand L Rai who introduced Dhanush in Hindi cinema and the duo is back once again with Atrangi Re. Produced by Colour Yellow Productions, in association with Cape of Good Films and T - Series, this film has music scored by AR Rahman. Dhanush has already lent his voice for a song in Atrangi Re and it marks his first ever Hindi song as a singer.

The film's story is written by Himanshu Sharma, while the cinematography and editing is handled by Pankaj Kumar and Hemal Kothari respectively. Apart from Dhanush, Akshay Kumar, and Sara Ali Khan, the film features Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Dimple Hayati in supporting roles. Atrangi Re is scheduled to release in theatres on August 6, 2021 and it will have a grand release across the country. Now that the film's shoot is wrapped up, the makers will now shift complete focus towards the post production works.
