Here we go! We all know that ace director Mani Ratnam is back with his next venture which will be a staright Tamil film. Though the film was earlier titled as Pookadai, the team is reportedly looking for a new name due to copyright issue. Yesteryear actor Karthik's son Gautham and Tollywood sensation Samantha will play the lead roles in this intense love story. The film will also have Mani Ratnam's favourites, A.R. Rahman as music director, Rajiv Menon as cinematographer, Vairamuthu as lyricist, Sreekar Prasad on editing table and Jeymohan on story.
The starcast also includes Arjun Sarja, Lakshmi Manchu, Pasupathy and Malayalam actor Lal in prominent roles. A little birdie tells us that the director is planning to start the shoot by first week of February in Muttam.
