Tamil actor Rio Raj, best known for his appearance on the hit Vijay TV reality show Bigg Boss, shared a photo of himself with blockbuster director Nelson Dilipkumar while penning a heartfelt statement about the filmmaker and how he's a big inspiration to him. The popular actor, known best for his roles in the Saravanan Meenatchi serial and Bigg Boss Tamil season 3, and films like Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja and Plan Panni Pannanum, praised the director, who is currently working with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth in the upcoming biggie, Jailer. Rio wrote on Instagram, "There are lots of Emotions for me in this pic 🥹 The man who taught us what consistency and confidence is, who taught us never to give up.😎 Novvv Nelson Na 🤩 @nelsondilipkumar 🙏🏻(sic)".
Although the picture posted by Rio Raj along with Nelson Dilipkumar seems to be a casual meet-up and nothing more, fans have been asking the actor in the comments section if he too is a part of the hit filmmaker's Jailer. The Rajinikanth film is already packed with big stars from several other languages starting with Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar, Malayalam icon Mohanlal, Hindi actor Jackie Shroff, Telugu blockbuster Pushpa fame Sunil, actress Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Taramani and Rocky actor Vasanth Ravi and Maryan antagonist Vinayakan among others, and it now remains to be seen if Rio is also a part of the action entertainer, which will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Announced to arrive in cinemas worldwide on August 10, Jailer is being produced under the prestigious Sun Pictures banner on a grand scale. The promotional material unveiled so far for the film has received a thunderous response from fans, especially the promo teaser of Rajinikanth's character Muthuvel Pandian and the release date announcement video showing us the entire cast alongside the 'Superstar', who charmed everyone once again with his iconic smile.
