Jr. NTR is celebrating his birthday today and leading celebrities around the world and fans from various quarters continue to send in their wishes to the Telugu superstar. With the title and first look of the actor's next big film, Devara, revealed earlier in the day, a new big update is now out regarding his venture with blockbuster Kannada filmmaker Prashanth Neel. Tentatively titled NTR 31, it has now been revealed that principal photography and full-scale production on the high-profile project will go on floors from March 2024. Production banners Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts dropped the big update about Jr. NTR joining Prashanth Neel on the sets of NTR 31 next year along with their birthday wishes to the RRR star.

NTR 31 has been in development for quite some time and Prashanth Neel will be taking charge next year after he completes shooting the highly-anticipated Prabhas-starrer Salaar, which is set to open in cinemas worldwide on September 28. The filmmaker will have enough time to complete work on the script of his film with Jr. NTR between this September and next March after he wraps up Salaar, and fans will be looking forward to an out-and-out action feast. The first official confirmation for NTR 31 was made way back in May 2021 when Prashanth Neel wrote on his now-defunct Twitter page, "The only soil that is worth remembering is the one soaked in blood! His soil.... His reign .... But definitely not his blood.... #NTR31 is going to be hugeeeee 🔥 (sic)" while mentioning himself and Jr. NTR in his tweet.
As of now, not much is known about NTR 31 and whether it will be connected to the KGF films or Salaar in any manner as fans look forward to the additional cast and crew details in the days ahead. Jr. NTR is currently filming Devara under Koratala Siva's direction making it a reunion for the duo after their 2016 hit film, Janatha Garage, which will hit screens worldwide on April 5, 2024. The film will see the actor paired with Janhvi Kapoor, with Saif Ali Khan cast as the antagonist, while Anirudh Ravichander is composing the songs and the background score. There is also a huge buzz that Jr. NTR will be cast in Hrithik Roshan's War 2, especially since the Bollywood superstar earlier in the day in his birthday wishes to the Telugu actor dropped a strong hint suggesting the possibility of their meeting on the big screen.
