Finally, the ban on Kamal Haasan's spy thriller, Vishwaroopam, was lifted by the Malaysian government, today. Although the Malaysian Film Censorship Board initially approved the movie for release, it was withdrawn the next day following orders from the Home Ministry. The ban had reportedly led to the circulation of illegal DVD's among ethnic Tamils in the country.
The film, written and directed by Kamal Haasan, is already creating wonders across the globe. The film also stars Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andreah and Shekar Kapur in important roles. We hope that the people in Malaysian will also enjoy this Hollywood-styled action thriller.
