Veteran film personalities felicitated
On Wednesday, members of Andhra Film Industry Veterans' Felicitation Committee honoured 16 film personalities from the coastal area who had served the 80-year-old film industry in various capacities, such as distributors, exhibitors and managers at the Usha Bala Krishna Rao Kala Vedika of Andhra Film Chamber of Commerce.
Speaking at the function held in Vijayawada, former Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce president K.S. Rama Rao lauded the efforts of the organizing committee in honouring the veteran film personalities for their contribution to the film industry.
"Next time, the committee should include personalities from other regions as well. Only people from coastal region are being honoured here this time,” he added.
Film personalities K. Ashok Kumar of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Arts Creations, K. Rama Subba Reddy, Vemuri Basava Kutumbha Rao, M. Vijendra Reddy and Turlapati Kutumbha Rao graced the function.
