Get ready to laugh till you cry as the grand launch of Chennai’s Funnest Comedy Club, The Spotted Hyena at Club Crest, Phoenix Marketcity on August 15th. The Spotted Hyena is a collaboration between one of Chennai’s favourite laugh factories, The Half Boiled Inc. and Club Crest.
The Spotted Hyena is set to begin on August 15th with a four-day stand-up comedy festival with some of the biggest names in the business. The show will have over 30 artists including some favourites like Kenny Sabastian, Sorabh Pant, Rahul Subramaniam, Naveen Richard and Chennai’s very own Alex, SA and Baggy.
Speaking about The Spotted Hyena, Baggy, the co-founder of Half Boiled Inc. says,
“The idea with The Spotted Hyena is to create a space in Chennai for comedy and the performing arts, where artists can jam, trial new material, experiment with new formats, perform regularly, shoot and just constantly try and push the boundary. The Box at Club Crest provides the perfect ambience for an intimate performance where we can really have fun with content. It’s also a great opportunity to discover new talent, get more stage time and hone your craft as an artist. You can expect to find an interesting show every single weekend, ranging from stand up and improv to music and theatre”
