Sneha: Happy days are here again
Actress Sneha followed, hounded and harassed by a fanatic fan has enough masala to make a great film. The actress is naturally relieved that the nightmare is finally over. But deep inside, she is hurt and unsure if she has heard the last of her tormentor (Raghavendra), who is currently cooling his heels in prison.
Initially, Sneha ignored the overtures and messages from Raghavendra, considering them acts of yet another fan, maybe more persistent. Changing her mobile numbers did not help; matters escalated when she was pestered by him at shooting spots.
Sneha said she had no clue how the man came to know her shooting schedules and arrive there before her. When the unending messages were laced with obscenity, Sneha decided to put a stop to this harassment and approached the police.
This is not the first such incident nor will be the last. Celebrities deem it as part of the professional hazards they are forced to face. “It is due to the larger-than-life images of the celebrities with the media going overboard,” said Khushbu when she was riding the crest of success after Chinna Thambi.
For Sneha, though the bad memories linger, happy days are here again and she is back to her cheerful self, looking forward to new horizons to conquer.
