Kajal Aggarwal goes to Bollywood
Kajal Aggarwal, one of the most-sought-after heroines in Kollywood and Tollywood, has reportedly accepted a role opposite Ajay Devgn in the Hindi remake of Suriya's Tamil hit Singam, dubbed in Telugu as Yamudu.
Anushka was the first choice for the female lead in Hindi, but she opted out of the project citing date problems. The Hindi version will be directed by Rohit Shetty. Technically, Singam remake is not Kajal's debut Bollywood film, as she played a minor role as the friend of Aishwarya in Rai Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... (2004), directed by Samir Karnik.
