Aascar Films forays into Malayalam
V. Ravichandran's prestigious production house Aascar Films, known for producing some of Tamil cinema's highest-budget and commercially successful films like Vaaranam Aayiram and Dasavathaaram, is foraying into Malayalam.
The house will produce Lucky Jokers, a comedy thriller directed by Sunil with Tamil actor Prasanna in the lead. The film has leading Malayalam actors Madhu, Jagathi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Harishree Ashokan, Jagadheesh, Janardhanan, Anoop Menon, Kottayam Nazeer and Sasikumar in supporting roles. Ace Tamil comedian Vadivelu will handle an important role.
Script is by Saju Kodiyan. Kaithapram pens the lyrics and M. Jayachandran scores music. Lucky Jokers will be shot from January in Nepal, Malaysia and Thiruvananthapuram.
