Several notable film and television personalities have started to get vaccinated for the Covid 19 virus and all the citizens of the country, aged above 18, have been requested to vaccinate themselves. Having said that, recently, actress Keerthy Suresh got her first dose of vaccine at a leading private hospital in Chennai. Keerthy Suresh took to her official Instagram page to post the picture of her vaccination and it has gone viral among the fans. Requesting everyone else to take the vaccine, Keerthy Suresh wrote, "#TakeTheJab 💉 ✅". Actors like Nayanthara, Ashok Selvan, Harish Kalyan, Gautham Karthik, Jiiva, were some of the other film personalities who took their first dose of vaccination recently.

On the professional front, Keerthy Suresh was last seen in the Telugu romantic drama, Rang De, which featured Nithiin in the lead role. The film earned fairly positive reviews from the fans and turned out to be a good success at the box office. Keerthy has several interesting mega biggies in her lineup and the most highlight project happens to be Annaatthe. Keerthy Suresh plays a crucial role in the Rajinikanth starrer and this is her first outing with the legendary actor. Keerthy will be seen playing the role of Rajinikanth's younger sister and the film's core story is said to revolve around her character.

Keerthy also plays the female lead in Mahesh Babu's highly anticipated next film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame. Keerthy is also a part of the historical epic film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, which features Mohanlal in the lead role. Helmed by ace filmmaker, Priyadarshan, Marakkar has got huge expectations among the film buffs and it is touted to take a very good opening at the box office. Interestingly, Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film and it has hyped up the expectations among the fans.
