The upcoming sports film, Jersey, will be revolving around the struggle of a 36-year-old cricketer to prove himself and 'Natural Star' Nani plays the lead character named Arjun alongside Shraddha Srinath, who appears as his love interest under Gowtham Tinnanuri's direction and will be set between 1986 and 1996.
'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, fresh off the success of the blockbuster, Petta, starring 'Superstar' Rajinikanth is composing the music for Jersey being produced by Sithara Entertainments with Sathyaraj, Brahmaji, Subbaraju among others in other important roles.
On the eve of Valentine’s Day, the first single track titled "Adhento Gaani Vunnapaataga" penned by lyricist Krishna Kantha was released with a Tamil version "Marakkavillayae" by Vignesh Shivan going on receive a highly positive response.
