Recently we have reported that Sun TV has bagged the satellite rights of STR's long awaited Vettai Mannan, which is currently in Macau. Interestingly Vettai Mannan is the first film to be shot in Disney Land, Hong Kong. The film is directed by debutant Nelson and Deeksha Seth has already been signed as one of the leading ladies.
Unlike VTV, Vaanam and Podaa Podi, Vettai Mannan will have lots of action with a strong comedy element. Interestingly, Nelson has worked with Simbu in Manmadhan and Vallavan.
Jai of Subramaniapuram fame will play an important role (as Simbu's friend) in this film. Yuvanshankar Raja will compose its music. Vettai Mannan, an action-packed gangster story, is Simbu's costliest film till date (30 to 40 crores). There are reports that Simbu will play the role of a serial killer in the film.
