Rahman and produced under the Sun Pictures banner, the film includes a talented cast featuring names like Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the female leads, Yogi Babu and Livingston for the comedy and, veterans Radha Ravi and Pala. Meanwhile, popular ticket booking website BookMyShow has now registered a rare 100% interest from fans across the country waiting to watch the film, showing the massive hype surrounding the upcoming action political thriller.

Up until yesterday (30.10.2018) over the past few days, Sarkar had been embroiled in a story plagiarism controversy, which was resolved with director A. R. Murugadoss himself giving a statement on video on his Twitter page. With the film clearing all pre-release hurdles and a runtime of 2 hours and 43 minutes, the action political thriller is expected to be a cracker of a film.
