Fresh off from the success of Suriya starrer Si 3, Shruti Haasan is now awaiting the release of her Telugu and Hindi films. The latest update is that the actress is said to have been roped in for Sundar C's period drama starring Arya and Jayam Ravi. It was earlier reported that the team were in talks for Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha. However, an official confirmation about Shruti's inclusion is still awaited. Produced by Sri Thenandal Films, this film has music scored by AR Rahman. Sangamithra is expected to go on floors in mid-2017.
