Superstar is an ardent Shiva devotee. It is a known fact that he travels to the North often on a spiritual note and he has titled many of his movies representing Shiva's names like Annamalai, Arunachalam and Lingaa.

Looks like this love for Lord Shiva runs in the family. Aishwarya Dhanush has completed 'Girivalam' for this Shivarathri along with Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. She is now working on Vai Raja Vai, her second movie as a director which stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Anand and Vivek.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music and the movie has Velraj's cinematography and VT Vijayan's editing. AGS Entertainment is producing the movie and Madhan Karky is penning the dialogues.
