Tentatively being called Thalaivar 165, 'Superstar' Rajinikanth’s association with young acclaimed filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj for a film next has left everybody quite excited.
To be produced under the Sun Pictures banner with music by Anirudh Ravichander, the announcement of Thalaivar 165 came as a sweet yet big surprise to all, who were under the belief that Rajinikanth would quit cinema since his announcement on entry into politics.
Meanwhile, latest reports now state Karthik Subbaraj visited Rajinikanth’s Poes Garden residence at Chennai today. It is believed their meeting was primarily to discuss about the production plan for Thalaivar 165, which we expect could flag off sometime in the next few months.
As for their upcoming projects, Karthik Subbaraj’s silent horror thriller, Mercury, with Prabhudeva is gearing up for a release on April 13.
