Gearing up for a thunderous Pongal 2019 release, the hype surrounding ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Petta is truly massive. A Karthik Subbaraj directorial produced under the Sun Pictures banner, the film’s music by Anirudh Ravichander has turned out to be a stupendous chartbuster and includes an ensemble star cast featuring names like ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Mahendran, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Guru Somasundaram, Sananth, Malavika Mohanan among others.
As known already, the homage-style teaser for Rajinikanth from the Petta team released few days back has gone on to be received with open arms everywhere. That said, sources close to us now reveal the film’s much-talked about trailer is apparently being planned to be released on New Year’s Eve/New Year Day. This will undoubtedly a great way to kick off 2019 and will lend more power and joy to the New Year celebrations.
