Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor, the husband of late actress Sridevi is a hot and happening name among ‘Thala’ Ajith’s fans after he had announced his upcoming film, Nerkonda Paarvai, under his Bayview Projects LLP banner being with H. Vinoth handling the directorial duties.
It must be noted that Boney Kapoor is also producing Ajith’s next after Nerkonda Paarvai, tentatively titled Thala 60, with details on the cast and crew now awaited, which we can expect to be revealed once the ongoing Tamil remake of the hit Bollywood film, Pink, nears completion.
Meanwhile, it has now been officially confirmed that Boney Kapoor has acquired the south Indian language rights of the recent Bollywood blockbuster, Badhaai Ho, directed by Amit Sharma.
Jointly produced by Junglee Pictures and Chrome Pictures, Badhaai Ho starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, and Sanya Malhotra and enjoyed a massive success running for over 100 days in theatres with more than 200 crores in worldwide box office collections.
As of now, no director is attached to the Badhaai Ho remake and we can expect more details on the cast and crew for this upcoming comeddy drama project from Boney Kapoor as days progress.
It must be noted that Boney Kapoor is also producing under his Bayview Projects LLP banner a film in Hindi with Ajay Devgn based on Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in the 1950s, which will also mark the Bollywood debut of Keerthy Suresh, to be directed by Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma.
