The next movie from RS Infotainment, the makers of super hit movies like Ko, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya and Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal, is Neethane En Ponvasantham (NEP). This movie, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, and starring Jiiva and Samantha in lead roles, is a collaborative effort from Photon Kathas and Mr. Elred Kumar. NEP will be the first movie that Gautham Menon and music maestro Ilaiyaraja will be working together in.
An audio teaser of the movie was released on Ilaiyaraja's birthday, and was very well received by the audiences. The audio rights of NEP have been bagged by Sony Music for a whopping price, exceeding the amounts given for earlier Gautham Menon movies like Vaaranam Aayiram and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya!
Unit sources reveal that the shooting for the movie has almost completed, and it can be expected to hit screens soon! A lot is being expected of this movie, and many fans are waiting with bated breath for its release!
