Murugadoss and Vijay have teamed-up second time, after their hit film Thuppakki. The team were already started shooting for the film, without a title. Now, director AR Murugadoss has announced that their film has been titled as Kaththi. Samantha has been roped in to play the female lead. The film is said to be bigger budgeted film compared to all of Vijay's previous films. Music is by Anirudh and George Williams handles the camera. The film is likely to be produced by Ayngaran International.
