Tollywood's leading producer-actress Lakshmi Manchu, who recently began the production of two Tamil films simultaneously made in Telugu as well, is likely to make her foray into the Kannada film industry with a film, starring Puneeth Rajkumar.
"I've narrated the script of my current production Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?, which stars my brother Manoj, to Puneeth Rajkumar. He was very excited about the script," Lakshmi revealed. However, she said that Puneeth is yet to give a green signal.
Meanwhile, the actress-filmmaker also said that her Kannada debut would take some time as she has two films to finish. "I've UKUP and my other film Maranthein Mannithen, which coincidentally is my Kollywood debut, which I have to complete," Lakshmi said.
