Ace Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles went on to become a sensational hit when it released early last year.

The acclaimed director then went on to kickstart his 2019 on a positive note by announcing that he would direct Salman Khan in a love story after 20 years with reports simultaneously surfacing that Shahrukh Khan will be playing an extended cameo in the upcoming project.

Up until now, there were speculations that Alia Bhatt would be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film with Salman Khan with the actress herself now confirming her participation in the project.

Alia Bhatt, who is enthralled about being part of the film went on to express her joy saying she went to the office of Sanjay Leela Bhansali when she was nine years old and had since then wanted to star in his film as it has been quite a long wait.

Salman Khan too went on to state that it’s been 20 years and that he is glad he and Sanjay finally back in the upcoming film with Alia Bhatt for which he is looking forward to begin work with much anticipation.

The film has been titled Inshallah and will be produced under the Bhansali Productions banner in association with Salman Khan Films with the team set to roll into production soon.
