Gautham Karthik’s next film, Devarattam, which began production last year is being directed by M. Muthaiah of Komban fame under the Studio Green banner.
Featuring music by Nivas K Prasanna, the upcoming rural action film also includes Manjima Mohan playing the female lead followed by Soori, Bose Venkat among others in supporting roles with an action-packed teaser released already.

Meanwhile, Devarattam is now facing big trouble as the state censor board has now told the makers to change the film’s title after opposition from a few people. That said, the team has stated they will not budge to the title change request for which they have now been instructed to further deal the matter with the main body of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in Delhi.
It now remains to be seen if Studio Green adheres to the state censor board’s request or if they go on to secure the Devarattam title they had fixed earlier.
