Anjali was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi's Sindhubaadh and her next project, Naadodigal 2 is ready to hit the screens in August. While she has been on the headlines consistently, she is all geared up to unleash her potential in a fantasy comedy, that will feature Yogi Babu and Vijay TV fame Ramar in a full length role. The two will be portrayed as the roadside Romeos, in one sided love with Anjali's character. The movies will be written and directed by Krishnan Jayaraj, produced by her "Balloon" movie director, KS Sinish, under his banner, The Soldiers Factory.
He says that the fact that when Krishnan Jayaraj narrated the story the script was enjoyable and hilarious. This yet to be titled movie is a female centric but yet falls under the fantasy comedy genre. The producer added that the protagonist’s character has a humorous appeal and they were very certain that Anjali could pull it off with ease.
The director, Krishnan Jayaraj mentioned that despite being certain that Anjali will perfectly fit into the role, the makers were doubtful if she would give her nod. Furthermore he mentioned that Yogi Babu and Ramar would be playing pivotal roles and will be seen throughout the movie, along with Anjali. The movie will be going on floors very shortly.
