Model turned actress Yashika Aannand went on to become a household name across Tamil Nadu after participating in the second season of the hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss, last year. Since then, she had only made a short and brief appearance in Vijay Deverakonda’s political drama film, NOTA. That said, her first full-length role will be in the upcoming comedy adventure thriller, Zombie, which will have its teaser launched on June 7 at 6PM.
Yashika Aannand will be seen playing the role of a doctor in Zombie, which also includes Yogi Babu, YouTube stars Gopi and Sudhakar of Parithabangal fame, Bijili Ramesh, Black Sheep Anbu among other under Bhuvan Nullan's direction and has been produced by S3 Pictures with music by Premgi Amaren. Production wrapped up a while back and is said to be the second zombie film after Jayam Ravi’s Miruthan released in early 2016.

As for her other projects, Yashika will next seen making special appearances for a song in Kazhugu 2 and in Arav’s Raja Bheema followed by roles in Odavum Mudiyathu Oliyavum Mudiyathu and an untitled film opposite Mahat Raghavendra.
