Vishnu's Veera Dheera Sooran has been renamed as Jeeva. Directed by Sussenthiran, the film also stars Sri Divya of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam as the female lead. Vishnu confirms that they have indeed made a title change, but never made it official, as they were planning to unveil it along with the first look posters of the film. The actor further reveals that Jeeva is the name of the character that he plays, hence they have opted for that title.
Produced by The Next Big Pictures, the film is tauted to be based on cricket, while Vishnu plays a cricketer for the first time. Soori has been chosen as the comic relief and D. Imman will tune the songs. Cinematography by Vijay Milton. The major portions of the film has completed shooting.
