Vikram's second Bollywood flick David, directed by Bejoy Nambiar (of Shaitan fame) is likely to hit screens on January 11. The film is trilingual made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Jiiva himself has confirmed that he will play an important role in David but only in the Tamil and Telugu versions.

The latest is that the film will narrate two different stories. So there will be two Davids Vikram will be seen as a fisherman and Jiiva will play the role of a musician. Rathnavelu will shoot the story of the fisherman while Sejal Shah will shoot the portions involving the musician. The star cast also includes Nasser, Tabu, Rohini Hattangadi, Lara Dutta, Isha Sharvani, K.P. Nishan, John Vijay and Saurabh Shukla. The film is produced jointly by Gateway films and Reliance Entertainment while music is composed by Anirudh supported by Prashanth Pillai, Remo, Modern Mafia and team.
