You don't get songs that create an instant positive impression during the first listen. It's a bit rare these days when it comes to melody numbers and that's precisely what composer S. Thaman has accomplished with his 'Cheeni Chillaallee' song in the upcoming action entertainer, Sketch directed by Vijay Chander under Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations banner.
Cheeni Chillaallee is a refreshing track to put it short and is going to feature in the chartbuster list of 2018 without a shadow of a doubt. Melodious numbers will always have a longer run in the charts and that's exactly what Thaman has set out to do with this song. You can feel everything is in its right proportions in the song - be it the instrumentation, the programming, the structure - they are all in tune with the vocals rendered by singers Shweta Mohan and Yazin Nizar and poetic verses penned by Vivek Velmurugan.
We now await the visuals of the song when Sketch arrives next month in theatres to witness both Vikram and Tamannaah in this soft love ballad.
