Vikram donates 15 lakhs for AP flood victims

South Indian super star Vikram visited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rosaiah on Sunday morning (November 15) at his residence and donated Rs. 15 lakhs to the CM's relief fund for AP flood victims. The CM congratulated the actor on his recent release Mallana and appreciated his performace as well.

Vikram is a popular star in Tollywood. The dubbed version of Anniyan was a huge hit there and his recently released Kanthaswamy/ Mallana has also been well received at the box office.

The Telugu film industry recently hosted a grand musical star night titled ‘Spandana’ on November 7 at Gachibowli stadium, Hyderabad for raising funds, which was attended by many leading South Indian actors. Since Vikram was busy shooting for his new untitled Tamil film, he could not grace the event. However, as soon as the shooting was complete, the actor flew to Hyderabad and visited the CM.

According to reports, Spandana has already collected over Rs. 5.27 crores. Tamil actor Suriya donated Rs. 10 lakh, while Radha Ravi donated Rs. 5 lakh on behalf of South Indian Film Artists' Association (SIFAA). Dasari Narayana Rao donated Rs. 5.28 lakh.
